Connie (Weber) DeLong and Jim DeLong, both class of 1976, have been together for 45 years. Throughout high school, Jim and Connie dated on and off. However, they spent time apart through college. Jim attended Northern Kentucky University, while Connie attended the University of Kentucky.
When Connie came home after college, the couple reconnected. They began officially dating again in 1978 and tied the knot on June 7th, 1980.
Jim and Connie raised their 2 children in Fort Thomas, where they still reside. Now, they have 5 grandchildren and are active community members. Jim coaches volleyball at his Alma Mater and has been the Varsity Coach for 2 years.
