Maria (Hils) DuPont and Matt DuPont, both class of 2014, did not have the traditional high school love story. Despite being in the same grade at Highlands, even having a few classes together, the two never really interacted with each other. However, they ran into each other at the Fort Thomas Pub in 2018, the night before Thanksgiving, and began dating just one month later, in December.Â
After their first date at Fort Thomas Pizza, Maria and Matt continued dating for 5 years, officially getting married on June 17th, 2023. Maria describes the day as a complete Fort Thomas wedding. The ceremony took place at St. Thomas, the reception was held at the Mess Hall, and the after-party was hosted at the Pub.Â
Just 1 month ago, Maria and Matt welcomed their first child, Thomas, into the world. Family surrounds the couple on both sides in Northern Kentucky, all of whom adore Matt, Maria, and baby Thomas. We wish the DuPonts endless happiness and joy for years to come
